When you visit, DCG has a front reception area that is specifically set up for Covid friendly drop off and pick up, with three selectively chosen pet receptionists that ensure a smooth, stress-free intake process. Stage 2 of the renovations, happening later in the Spring, will be done on the building’s exterior. In ongoing support of local businesses, Leanne hired and worked closely with her local designer (Nicola Fanstone, Black Thumb Decor) and a team of talented community trades people to create the spa-like atmosphere, complete with a warm live-edge counter built by (Timber Forge Studio) to greet clients, artistically designed flooring and new state-of-the-art equipment. DCG has since grown to include five groomers, and over 2000 clientele providing Leanne with the opportunity to build her ‘dream salo n! ’ Originally opened in November, 2015, DCG Salon’s owner and operator, Leanne Robinson, was the lone groomer in her immaculate home salon. There’s now more room for the groomers to perform their high quality skills at a more central location, in the heart of Cumberland.
